Karen began her career as a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry but eventually developed a strong interest in human behavior and began her studies to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her private practice includes work with individuals with anxiety, depression, posstraumatic stress, relationship problems, substance abuse and a number of other treatable issues. In addition, Karen provides Couples Counseling and Career Counseling.
Karen earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. She earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Oakland University and is currently a PhD Candidate in Counselor Education at that same university. Karen also enjoys teaching counseling students at Oakland University.
